This is the first piece of the puzzle and probably the most important.”The City West representative also takes the view that  Patrickswell has been overlooked for the last number of years by Limerick City and County Council.“The commitment and leadership shown by the councillors of Limerick City West will put increased pressure on Limerick City and County Council to provide community facilities in the area.“Patrickswell has seen additional housing constructed over the last number of months housing young families and unfortunately no plans for additional facilities have been put in place.”Cllr McSweeney added that funding for the community centre would enable the community access more funding from other streams in the future.
