Two Derrymen clocked driving more than 30km over the speed limit on a busy Letterkenny road have been fined.Letterkenny District Court heard that Garda O’Dowd detected a black Nissan Xterra driving at 132km/h at Dromore, in a 100km/h speed zone, on July 21, 2017. The vehicle was being driven by John Quad, with an address at 213 Lone Moor Road, Derry.A fixed charge penalty notice was not paid.Judge Paul Kelly ordered a fine of €250, payable within five days.On July 22, 2017, the Court heard, Garda O’Dowd was operating a speed check at Dromore when he detected a white Audi traveling at 131km/h, in a 100km/h speed zone.
